Finding Clients' Best Outcome

According to Endeavour Communications managing director Mark Bentham, getting the best outcome for clients is about finding the right mix of solutions.

"That's the main difference between Endeavour and the usual mobile phone company," Mr Bentham said.

"The PSION is what worked for Wallace Tugs.

"They needed a system they could pass around and use in different places 24 hours a day. They didn't need a desktop PC.

"But a desktop would suit other companies perfectly.

"An office assistant could be working on a word document, then just click the page message icon and send out a message, then flick back to the word document.

"Our mobile paging system can also be used on notebook computers or laptops.

"Even a Vodafone handset can be used to type short messages, although most people prefer to use a keyboard."

Companies which use both mobile phones and a paging system can "save a fortune" by consolidating into a mobile paging system with Vodafone, Mr Bentham said.

Not only does it cut out the cost of the paging system, it can dramatically cut the cost of office to mobile calls, "one of the biggest costs a lot of companies face".

A company with a team of reps on the road, for example, can keep short text messages flowing all day, without the extra costs involved in spending time talking.

"We look at what clients need and work out how they are going to save," Mr Bentham said.

"On average, we've saved our clients in the Illawarra about 20 per cent on their communications costs."
